Ok so this picture is darker irl than it is on my phone, I suppose I should edit it but cba!
So I’m writing this on the 29th as I’ve been rubbish at updating again. I can’t really remember what we did during the day, I think we watched Bolt on tv and it made me properly cry and I couldn’t stop the whole way through the film. The bit that really got me was where the cat in it explains that she was left behind by her owners to fend for herself and she didn’t know why. Which is exactly what happened to George and how we ended up with her and it just got me in the feels but then I couldn’t stop crying for the rest of the film. I felt exhausted by the end of it! Damn hormones!
We met a bunch our friends for a post Christmas get together in Southern 11 for food, I knew what to expect this time so although everyone ordered enough starters for the whole table, I knew not to overface myself and saved myself for the main course! I had the pulled pork, I still couldn’t finish it all but it was lovely.
After dinner we went to a rum bar called Revolución de Cuba. I love rum and the cocktail menu looked ace, teapots of rum cocktails anyone? Of course I can’t have any of that so I got a virgin Pina Colada Granita which apparently puzzled the barman making it but it did taste lovely! My picture today is of the cocktail menu!
